I loved this poem, as I am also a knitter. I love the way you created a poem from watching your wife knitting. I love the foreman of this style. A new one for me. Good job, and very creative. Sara :)

That poem came out nicely. Knitting isn't the simplest of tasks. Well thought out and nicely written. Good flow of rhythm and rhymes. Great job.

Looks like both you and your love have talent in the creative arts. This is another excellent example on your part. I can't even fathom the difficulty in bringing these elements together seamlessly.

A beautiful craft to introduce a well-penned poem;
Thought-provoking words as life's cautious plans circle around creating colorful hopes of tomorrow;
I like the comparison of life and fine craftwork.
Your wife looks like a wonderful knitter; my mother at one time tried teaching me how to knit--the lessons did not go well!

really like your knitting metaphor, but can't picture you knitting ( just kidding, read the author notes). good use of the form, and if anyone gives you grief about plight//plight, just say "hey, it's a stanza break, stupid!I'm workin' with a theme, y'know." really like the lines " Plight that each soul is tightly drawn/ on a path of celestial hue".

This work has reached the exceptional level

True to sense of created plan
Man muddles along unknown, then
Again master wraps yarn he can
Span the twist 'til the next of when.

Wow Tom!! This is so wonderful. You told an awesome story while keeping to the plan. Man it is really good guy. I'm impressed!! So much so that this one deserves a six and it's getting it!!!
