That must be one special cemetery, as it seems to span nations, and even continents. Yet the poet shows reverence for her favorites in this mystical gathering. Well done. :) Nancy

Since it was my final entry in the NaPoWriMo challenge, it was my eulogy for the month of April gone, complete with the spirit of writers gone before. Thank you for a lovely review.

This is a wonderful and eloquent ABAB metered verse that has included many of my favorite poets. The eulogy celebrates the passing of 'April' in prime company. It read good aloud as well as visually and the only line I had a problem with was line one of the seventh quatrain. Kenny

'April's Passing' tells an amusing and interesting story of some memorable authors. I tend to pass up reading poetry because I'm poor at reviewing it, but this poem gives me too much pleasure to pass it by, Kim. Nicely done! Marie

i loved this little poem although i too am a bit forlorn -- where did it go. and fanstory is now prompting with fall. this poem was clever, written well in an interesting way with witty references to poets who lamented other passings. enjoyed this a lot.
