I really liked the art work and the words written.
I feel their are many within our world today
Are finding it is hard to make ends meet.
Many of us on earth find it hard to live
We should help when we can, to feed those who are hungry.

This voyage in the good ship Emily reminded me of Keats's journeys of the imagination - "Much have I traveled in the realms of gold ..." Beautiful.

I like the way you incorporate Emily's words into your poem
solid use of rhyme
This is a thoughtful tribute to the power of poetry to transport us to better places when we are fed up with the hum drum mundane nature of our actual lives :-) Brooke

All writing is an escape/vacation from the hum drum of life. Whether writing poetry or a novel, through writing we also learn truths about life that's only perceived through ones soul. A soul hidden deep within us, that's enlightened through a thought process not tied to this world, but to the next and through the words of this world, we learn worlds of truths not taught by men, through those quiet moments within our mind at that time.
Very good and quite different. Keep up the great writing. God bless

Great artwork for your conversation with Emily poem. Your second verse rings so true wherever you live nowadays, the pressure of the economy etc. nothing better than to delve into a book. I've really enjoyed this poetry challenge, though must admit felt stressed at times when the mind has gone blank. This is a very clever idea and a good read.

Thank you very much, Pearl. Stanzas two and four belong to me, and one and three, of course, to Emily. I may explore this technique further... wouldn't it be wonderful to have a Poet's Round Table, of sorts, with a selection of the greats? Love that idea! Thanks for a wonderful review.
