I really enjoyed the way you are using positivity to wipe away feelings of negativity in these well written quatrains. I enjoyed the AABB rhyme scheme and use of the word "smote", but best of all I enjoyed it's uplifting quality. Great choice of pic too, Jaq.

Every verse is full of wisdom, begging to be perused though I prefer the old fashioned traditional poem with sensual imagery tied up with fine rhythm.I still don't know what happiness is. The Buddhist say that when sorrow ends, happiness begins.Anger is not the only negative emotion. In my book, all emotions are negative and together with those terrible passions, does infinite, human love stand a chance? Laughter is good. Freud tells us that we must return to the state of child like laughter.Finally I find it strange that we nurse our sorrow as if it is something precious. Best wishes. -Ekim777
