Lovely photo of you against this snowy mountain range. You cover the seasons well in this poem and you have managed to combine nature and the wonder of the lover in this poem with your words of embrace and yearning.

Creatively original with expressive word pictures that aid the reader in empathizing with the person the adverse weather effects upon us. Interesting word combinations with a meaningful ending.

Very good Dovey. I do think though that the creator of this form should be credited. Her name was Joree Williams. Thanks you did a bang up job of it.

Thank you for the kind comments... are you sure about Joree Williams? Here is how shadowpoetry.com where I discovered that type of poetry lists it:

    Parallelogram de Crystalline

Parallelogram de Crystalline is a poetry form created by Karan Naidu. This form consists of 4 verses of 3 lines each. The syllable count for each stanza is 3, 6, 9. In this style of poem, the beauty of a lover is compared with the nature and described...

    Thanks,

Well I was sure till you showed me that. Joree told me herself before she died it was hers. Who knows. You are probably best to list no ones name with it. LOL. I'll try to get to the bottom of it. Thanks you.

Glad I could help. You can read it for yourself at www.shadowpoetry.com It is the only place I've ever seen that style listed. Well, and the one I go to the most, because the site is so comprehensive. Have a great evening.

Hi, Kim.

Maybe 'loosen', though 'lessen' works fine - just me being a picky smart-arse. :-)

You've persuaded me my eyes are getting old, as I have trouble reading the black on blue.

Top alliteration in 'embrace breakup'

I really like 'summer's fling' too.

Nice one.

Happy Sunday to you and Alaska.

Cheers, Ray

Thanks, Ray. :) I'm off to work... Happy Sunday, indeed! lol :) Hope you have a wonderful day. Perhaps I'll go lighten up that blue just a bit and make it easier to read?

    *hugs*
