It was one crumpled piece of paper
That fell and was not easy to find.
I guess when we write we have
To watch where the writing fell.
The crumpled piece of paper
Was not meant to keep it seems.

Love this artwork that you have used for this poetic conversation, Dovey. And isn't the final verse so apt, I know many times I have pages of lines, then they get shredded, or sometimes, as you say, nothing comes at all. A lovely setting and a good read.

This is a very nice and well written poem with a good flow, fun words and it has nice imagery too.

Good use of the rules for this type poetry. I could get a picture of the pages on the full as each time the writing was not quite what the writer was after. I have done that many times myself. Nice job!

A nicely written ABAB poem.
