I am sorry I don't have a 6 for this lovely poem, Treischel, it is really written well. The mixed meter works better this way and is in keeping with a jig-saw puzzle. I like the way you have likened it to the pressures of life, they too need that little piece to bring it all together. A pleasure to read! xsx Sandra
I'm sorry I missed this one, Treischel, I have been so busy packing, I have only had time to pop in and review a few at a time. I was surprised at the amount of messages get if I leave it just for a day! LOL, because of this, I am making sure I review all I have fanned at once or twice. I will keep a special eye out for your. A good Rondel with repeating lines. Puzzles are a good past time - that is if we have the patience and time.
For hours on ends, the puzzle solver will piece each tiny bit together to complete the big picture.
Finally it is finished. Another master piece after almost one month of hard labor.
The satisfaction, the agility of the mind and the steady hands with lots of patience came to a final conclusion.
Great write and well expressed. The Rondel with repeating lines does seal in the message very well.

This is a lovely Rondel even though until just now I had no idea what one was, so I'm taking your word for it. I hear jigsaw puzzles are relaxing to fit together, unfortunately they just stress me out, but they sure do make a fine metaphor for a poem when fitting the pieces of life together to make a whole.

I volunteer at the hospital's radiation oncology unit and there is always picture puzzle there so this poem reminds me of that. You have penned a great rondel poem with excellent verbiage and successful rhyme that pulls the lines down the page with ease. Well done.....chey

This is an excellent example of a Rondel. Your words read perfectly and flow nicely. I liked how you took something as simple as puzzles and wrote a poem in Ronel form. This is an excellent original write. Your author notes are excellent and add to your work. Nicely done.
