Many questions and we don't even have an answer even when the poem answer "At last...at last!" and we are just about to get the answer.
Life is such that if we know everything there is to know, then the marvel and joy of life will be taken from us.
Like the Rubix Cube, if we know how to get the puzzle cube right, it would have lost its luster and mystery so questions and riddles make us improve ourselves.
Good write and we have to crack our brains on this one, smiles.

Hi Tom, yes, cracking a smile especially with your self pic, it is funny and witty but the message is a serious one. Witty and serious makes a good combination to crack a smile.

A powerful piece and far better than most of the religious poetry I've read on here. Not sure if its exactly free verse as there seems to be 5 stresses to a stanza which works very well in this context. I think you would do well do delete the final line which rather breaks the spell and seems somewhat crass to me.

Thanks Robin. So you recognized that face did you? I tried not to be presumptuous. Didn't my bathroom wallpaper work out well as a background. I posed with several expressions. They might sneak in occasionally.

It definitely has that heavenly appearance. You should sell
those pictures on FS art. I felt guilty laughing, but I still am.
