This is just a moving free verse, very well written and enjoyed. This is like an ode to a couple of people, rolled up in a pretty presented poem.
Well done and GL in the contest

'The Golden Thread' is an inspiring read, Kim. The opening lines say what we all should recite often.
Of course, I find it even more special since it's in memory of the Porter Heart Center and touching effort by Kaare Odegard. Marie

Excellent art work and words written.
We are given a chance to know about love within our world.
Within our Spiritual knowledge we can become closer
To discuss issues that can be healed forever.

It is said that only the good die young, but what good is a dead one. I liked the quote you gave from Einstein. He was one of the most brilliant persons to have ever lived. This was a well written poetic voice that I enjoyed reading and writing this response for... John

A nice treatise, of sorts, to encourage one who is immersed in self and then is brought back to a basic truth of giving to others in order to leave a lasting legacy.

A wonderful free verse poetic work. I love the artwork! The descriptions of life's low moments and the wisdom of age are truths in most lives. I really liked the inclusion of Luke 6:38. Charity given is charity received, especially in the heart of man.

Comment from Frank Atwood
When one finds truth within, along with faith in the invisible, and forgiveness of all things, past and present, while staying away from hypocrites, one will have a very simple, but pleasant life in oneness with a God many preach about but never find or know. The thread is golden and silence harbors its truths. Very good. Keep up the great writing.

I'm not a poet but it's pretty obvious there are several aspects tot his poem. This reads and feels like a poem. God loves you and so do I.
