This is the shortest post I think I've read. Yet it does state perfectly what Easter means to you. A well penned line and powerful words of faith complete it.
Thanks for sharing it and good luck.

There is much about the spiritual side of Easter that you have ignored, while merely describing what happened. Easter defines the Christian faith, it stands for hope, renewal, the Second Coming, and many other things. If you have the time, try to explore these aspects (you have 500 words, so make the most of them). There is absolutely nothing wrong with what you have written, but it's telling me something I already know. Perhaps you could talk of Easter in the context of a cynical world that has lost hope? Just a suggestion.

thank you pierre but the prompt says "Write about what Easter means to you.".
i'm not "christian" so it doesn't define me.
i don't feel it stands for hope because i believe you have to have that every day (not just on easter).
i don't believe in a second coming.
i don't care about context of a cynical world that has lost hope because i have hope.
renewal? eh, maybe.... but renewal is not what it means to me (which is the prompt)
