Well done mate! I really enjoy this irish limerick style of poetry. I love the way it sings and flows. Good job and peace to you. Cheers Fez.

This was indeed a fun read. i do love the Irish accent and their way of saying things. I would love to visit Ireland some day. God loves you and so do I.

"Tis a TALL tale I'm reading for sure at the hands of Treischel's pen. Such a delight, said Paddy that night, that night he went for his swim! Terrific

Thank you Robin. I have to admit that your airport fairies inspired me to write this. I spent some time researching Irish folk tales, but finally gave up and made this one up.

LOL. Good ST. Patty's day poem. I don't even know what day it is on yet? That is a sorry state of affairs to be that behind in a normal society event. The ending of course is wonderful.

Cute, and that wily Paddy is the winner. Ha. I enjoyed reading this little tale of overcoming the odds to have sex in the sea with the beautiful mermaids. Don't know much about poetry but think this sounded good.

a witty poem and love the reference to Peter O'toole. You wound it up well in the last lines and the rhythm is perfect. best Indie

A great write in quatrains for St. Paddie's Day I'd say. LOL it didn't take too much for the following to happen:

Say what you may of Paddy O'Dea
After he got wind in his sails.
But it may explain why they look that way,
Since all of his children have scales.
