A very interesting haiku that talks about one of my favorite subjects- plants and trees. I love the simplicity of the poem.

I am taking the Japanese poetry course, and since I can't get outside, I am looking at nature magazines for inspiration. This was a fall issue. Thank you so much for your kind review. Take care, my friend~Debbie

This piece has autumn written all over it. The writer does a good job of describing the scene and making the reader feel like a part of this piece. Short, sweet and to the point.

Leaves and flags. Interesting. Canada has one: the maple leaf. Are there any more countries with leaves on their flags? Great poem that made me curious about that.

Golden flags is a great visual of fall's stunning colors blowing in a breeze. A very pretty written poem. Nice to see a little fall color as we have reached the drab days of the year.

Debbie, very nice job with this haiku. The satori provides one with something to ponder--patriotism for one. Excellent presentation, too. Blessings, Hector
