Great poem. Very amusing but oh so believable. As any home owner well knows the to do list is never ending. It wore me out just reading it. Entertaining throughout. Good rhyme scheme. Good job.

LOL- thanks for only posting one-tenth of your 'to-do' list! I'm totally worn out just reading this! VERY good, VERY funny write- I can relate to cleaning the chicken poo- the veggies on the table waiting to be canned, the lawn, dog bath- LOL- almost all of it actually. Really enjoyed this cute poem. Thanks for sharing. Betty

To say that you are overvorked, and underjoyed is
putting it mildly! This was a very sitty and charming
reminder of work that is never done. Some have far
more than most, and woe you have your share and then some!

Thanks for sharing, best wishes always...

Great poem! I think we all could identify. My own mother has said the very same thing-she has too much to do at home to work. There were a few places where it was hard for me to read because of the intentional grammatical mistakes. Most was just fine, but the first two stanzas I really wanted to change to: 'busted' or 'to bust' and 'possom there's no doubt.
It's a creative and fun poem. Nice job.

Thyank you - I think our possums are different from your possoms - they were introduced from Australia where they are harmless and cute, but here they have multiplied like crazy and are the bane of orchardists and gardeners and everyday householders. No real predators here, so most people cheer when they see another one squashed on the road.

Now that was tongue in cheek funny. I liked the whole list of things that need to be done and the crazy list of why. It all boils down to time management. LOL. I truly enjoyed and understood this. Nicely done.

No pressure felt - when the to-do list is that long, writing is way down near the bottomj.

Thanks for the review and the shiny stars.

I guess we all get frazzled at5 times in our lives - the mountain just seems particularly high at the moment, although most of it is of my own choosing!

I appreciate the humor in this piece, at the same time the ironic point of view, unemployment can be a good thing, for some. I truly enjoyed the punch line as well.
