And you didn't win????? This was really clever. I laughed loud at the part where Iggy pulled the cord out of the wall, Lol, and that he'd told the caller to call back, that is so funny, and you make it sound so real! Another fabulous story. Well done, Bill. :)) Sandra xx

Thank you, Sandra.

That was definitely worth the visit! LOL Iggy sounds like the near perfect pet rock :0) I love that all of his other bits of enlightenment are well received, but the rolling of the dice without a wrist, that's just inane--
too funny!

Wry use of some time honored cliches here. You gave me a smile.
The of the pet rock drove the story forward ... we never new what bit of wisdom Iggy would dispense.
Think I need a pet like him in my life. LOL
Hugs, d

Um... I found this story to be disjointed and strange, although I'm sure the crazy was intended ; ) It did make me laugh with the silliness of it all so kudos for that. All words were used and it was kept withing word count I believe so good luck in the polls!

hehhe That was great. A really fun story is so few words. I don't know who's crazier the fellow talking to Iggy or me for imagining the whole conversation...oh and a rock with a wrist! Good job:)

After one paragraph I'm laughing
I'm groaning at the attempts to get more than a six on one die LOL
I am a huge fan of silly - you could take this on the road if they still had vaudeville :-) Brooke

This is a strange story. Iggy had quite a vocabulary for a pet rock. I'm sure he never rolled a dice, being rather immobile. You appear to mmet all the rules and throw in some excellent mental imagery.
Good luck!

This is really a fun piece with a unique concept. I like your conversational tone in relating exploits with Iggy. Seems to be the start of more adventures.
