This is an unusual piece, it talks about lost interest , giving up and so describes this in simple words, such as ' your words rush over me '. It is a short poem but straight to the point

Okay, I do get the gist of what this little piece is trying to say, but I'm a bit puzzled about the title because it doesn't seem to match what the final word is saying. There is a need for these words. That's what I'm getting. What's the confusion?

Good use of a simile to describe the feeling of being confused. While the poem is in correct syllable count, the structure seems forced with the hanging "your words" in the second line. Good luck in the contest.
