How can I put this into words again other than the lover of live and love strikes me dead in my path again.... You have such a talent that only the few and lucky could ever touch your heart. I can see thru your works that you do every thing thru your heart with love and the love of passion and love. What more can I say again other than WOW, you really get me lost in your words. KEEP THEM COMMING My HEART IS READY FOR MORE OF YOUR THOUGHTS stay away from the dark side for awhile so the heart can shine and burry that side that we do not like to read about because of the hurt that we feel for you... I like that one Jewel, it is very nicely done and has a great meter to it actually. The words are very moving. So what do we do when the urge is that fiery but not really directed at anyone just needing someone?? Damn that is what gets me into trouble. Great write. Hugs, JL

Hi Jewell, it seems as if the nature queen has come down just beside me and whispers to me to arouse my passion, desire and love - better to put it like all romance lying within. Your metaphor and imagery used in this poem is wonderful. Thing is that to get if full we have to have a cool and softness of mind while reading. Then a sweet and tender acceptance is there by the beautiful nature ......

A different take on the storms of life,
Quite interesting, in fact,
Living life in every moment,
Accepting what is real each day
And gathering from every event
the gifts it has to give.
Even the storm can teach us
lessons, and make us strong.

Loved the last verse. Didn't take off a star, but thoght about it. I realize that there wasn't intended meter but for a poem with lots of ocean imagery, there was little "flow". I couldn't really catch a rhythmn and didn't get into the deeper story of the poem. Even so, I apreciated the beautiful language and lovely images.
