A very interesting story of acceptance and the need to have it. You described the scene well and I could picture Craig on the tube behind the canoe. Overall, well written. There are a few places you might want to check punctuation that will help the story flow better, but well done!

Fantastically descriptive writing with a very easy flow. You have managed to capture the struggles of this young man desperate to be accepted by his peers perfectly.
It has a sense of the auto-biographical to it. Really enjoyed reading this, thank you for sharing it.
