What a joy to hear another of your dialect poems to ring in the new year, Alex :-)
And how appropriate a time to honor this poet!!
When a genius dies at such an early age I often thank God that the person produced so much so young so that we got to enjoy his talents despite his short life :-)
Thank you so much for sharing this, Alex, and Happy New Year to you!! :-) Brooke

I feel that your style of writing is amazing, Very Unique. Not only was this an amazing piece of History, but, you also have an amazing way of as I read.... I could could have my eyes and be one with the story. I wish I would have read all the translation before moving on to the poem..

I thoroughly enjoyed your poem. I listened to the audio as I read and I must say I like the Scottish lilt.

Just a minor mistake I don't think you actually need a comma here. The all time favourite,---- of mine,

Should read The all time favourite--of mine,

Apart from that it was interesting to actually read how the words sounded when spoken. Keep up the good work. Well done!
