I like this! It's so imaginative, and combined with elements of religion is such a clever idea. Well told story here!

Your poem illustrates well the story of the fall and of the jealousy of Lucifer. It gives encouragement for people to turn to the Lord, and warns against the devil's deception. It is factually and scripturally based. A very good write - thanks for sharing!

"He, though One of Us, the Second Adam gladly became,
Lived as a man, sinless, obedient, without a spot of blame."

Great lines. Yes, Lucifer was the most beautiful of the Angels, and in his pride he defied God, defied Humanity, and sought to place himself above all others. And he fell forever down.

Your fine poem recounts one of the great histories of our world, and the gift of Christ.

Thanks for sharing,

- TR

I'm not really big on biblical stuff, but this fine tuned poem is written with authentic spirituality that is appealing.

I have read numerous books on metaphysical philosophy in an effort to understand the nature of good and evil. Life is much simpler when one believes in God as all loving and Satan as a fallen angel. I think that the notion of Lucifer being jealous of God is quite interesting.

Thank you for reading it, Lou. I appreciate it, as well as your comments.Ae you can probably guess, I would be happy to talk more about the Bible if you ever want to. I think the concept of God and what He is like is best found there, although I have no doubt everyone has had experiences, acknowledged or not, that originated in His love. :) Dennis

I love this poem, a well written poetic vision of the Gospel, Of God's Love and of sin. Well Done. I love the notes also. Thank you for sharing your talent and poem!

I enjoyed reading your spiritual poem about the jealousy of Lucifer. I like your message and your artwork choice goes well with your thoughts. As long as God The Most High is in our life's we can defeat any demonic entity.

I love the poem. Yes, sin began in the heavens. Long before man existed. There are many times of jealousy. One is the jealousy over power. God is the one we can give the power to. Be one with him and you will have power too. Great work.

"Yet jealousy began to be, and expanded in your heart, Not enough to fill your role, you would have My part." Good poetic work on satan's jealousy and downfall. Great artwork choice for this poem. Enjoyed!

Well this is certainly a novel take on the prompt! One of the greatest examples of pure jealousy ever! Well done! And the final irony, of course, is in Christ's triumph!

You took a biblical approach that was interesting. This could almost be a sermon. I like the way you started with creation and showed how jealousy blossoms. T2
