Thanks so much, Tia, for your review. I live in a part of California where the stores are open until late in the night during the holidays.

Hi,a well written story, but I'm not sure about how the second line syllable count will go with 'there'll' is that one or two or even if it should be 'they'll' but it did flow and I will give you the benefit of the doubt and rate you accordingly to your topic and not the count, just give it a look. Good luck in the prompt. Kindest regards James

Thanks so much, James, for your review. Thank you, also, for pointing out the syllable count in the line with "there'll." I've changed it to play it safe. Thanks for that! :>)

Hello...I enjoyed your poem. Good job with the syllable counts and keeping the plot active. To answer your notes, if there would be no sales, we would find an excuse to stay home and not walk or exercise our food off somewhere. We'd get obese and the money we saved up from not shopping, we'll probably not be able to use anyway as a result of clogged arteries. Just my personal view though. Cheers and good luck.

Thank you for your delightful review in which you supply many good reasons for that midnight shopping. I suspect someone might challenge me that it's good for the economy, and I just might agree with that. Perhaps I don't see the sense in it, since I can't usually stay awake that late anyway, much less shop! Thanks again. :>)
