A simple life could be easy in direct relationship and without the interference with our thoughts, memories and our minds.Of course it has to be an honest relationship for as Shakespeare said. "Oh what tangled web we weave, when we do practice to deceive." I would say we should not allow ourselves to be possessed by anything least of all by memories, sentiments or the symbols our minds create.
I presume a full life is means a life of complete awareness; a life in the present. I think that covers all bases. - Ekim777
