Hi, Jaq.
I'm afraid I have nothing constructive to say to improve this chillinc, captivating and dramaic description of hell.
Excellent alliteration throughout.
Amazing imagination and apt strong and eloquent vocabulary.
This place sounds like fun, and the heating bills are low. ;-)
Seriously, this is captivating and a pleasure to award one of my meanie sixers to.
Best wishes, Ray

Wow thank you so much Ray. It always means so much when the more established writers take time out to review my work too. Although all critique is greatly appreciated. :) Jaq x

No probs, Jaq. This was a treat to read and even scared me a bit - and I'm not easily scared by words. Ray x

The final hours are approaching as we watch the anti-Christ on TV. We struggle with our past in hopes that all transgressions have been forgiven as we look toward the end of days the Myans say.

The Mayan calendar is indeed coming to an end. Will it be the end of life as we know it? Or is it just the 'Great Shift'? The world changing? We will know soon enough.

HI! Jaq Cee. This is certainly a very dramatic description of Hell and your Artwork is perfact for this piece. Iread this with great interest, then strangely, a totally different scene sprang to mind. It was of the Home fans at a local derby match and their reaction when there team lost 5 nil. Amazing what can stir the imagination. It is still a really great poem. wiljacro.

I liked your picture and horror-like poem a lot. Something a bit different from the usual. Quatrains with good flow and no rhyme. You created a picture of demons and Hell.

Wow Jaq! You have created some very vivd and effective imagery in this powerful poem. It brings to mind Milton's Paradise Lost epic, that I studied for 'A level' English, along with Queen's Bohemian Rapsody!LOL!
Beelebub and his minions etc!
Good assonance with 'lights bright' and alliteration with 'Demon's dance' and 'straddle Satan's'
Well done! Liz.

Love your creative use of wording in this poem indeed I wish more would adapt use of such - you weaved in ink in a fashion that wasn't weak nor too over the top and when writing on this subject it can be tricky not to fall into the same old over played words you did ever well by not falling in the boring ink well of doom lol - thanks for sharing always a pleasure

The subject gave me the creeps right from the start...but Over all the poem is well written and to the point. You describe your subject great and enough to be emotionally scary. The artwork is great for the subject also...gruesome!

Me too Jill, but as you say, this world today does make you doubt things you've always thought clear. Thanks again for reading and commenting, means a lot. :) Jaq x
