Your story for the Soul Writer contest is both written well and interesting. This is another contest I didn't hear about, but of course most of my time is spent with reviewing. Kat

I ran across it at work this afternoon and felt inspired to see if I could express a thought in 150 words...quite a bit of editing indeed. MizKat you are so well thought of that I am honored by your review and may you be blessed by reading this...you have always treated my work quite well and I thank you. Mossmouse

I really love how you did this. It is from the inception of life to present. I love how you ended by thanking your creator. The only problem I had was, "He is very close now." I think it should be that you are very close now, or you are getting closer to the gnarled oak desk that the gentleman sits behind. That part tripped me up a bit and I had to reread it. Otherwise I like the spirit behind the writing. More2write

Made the small change you mentioned...thank you. I found out about this contest late this afternoon and gave it a go...quite a challenge for my to a 150 word limit. Your review is most welcomed and keep the pen to the paper... Mossmouse

Awesome. I like that you are receptive of critiques because that is what helps all of us grow as writers, and isn't that what we are here for? Very nice. more2write

It is a simply told tale in this form and it wss told really well. No hesitation at all. I'm betting it has a foundation in truth.

Well Gungalo you are quite right...my other piece I just sent out titled Restoring Jericho tells the tale but the reviews for that one are all over the board...don't know enough about poetry readers. Some of my stuff requires a little digging and contemplation to get through but I will persevere. Anyway, I know you are highly respected on the site and I appreciate your awesome comments...keep pen to the paper Gungalo. Mossmouse
