Such a lovingly rendered, tenderly touching ode to your canine companion. your love shines through in your brilliant flow and execution, and the picture of your special friend is special, indeed. I am happy to have stumbled upon such a wonderful poem to begin my day with, and I sincerely thank you for sharing your thoughts with us all.

Honestly, I do believe that dogs were simply meant for we mere humans to have something real to rely on. I absolutely loved this one on every level. Bravo! xoxo Kiwi

I adore this poem. I am a big fan of animals and can see my own pet in this poem. I like the way you describe the way the dog is in your chair, the walks and play. Your words describe the love of your dog and I appreicate reading them.

Love your poem about your 'faithful friend.' Those of us who have loved our pets, know the true meaning of your well worded poem. You make your pet come alive with your descriptions of him barking at the ball, and diving through ducks. Oh, the comfort of nestling close to a beloved pet.

Really touched my heart.
I am a push over for labs.
Can't have a dog because I'm away too many hours of the day.
Have two cats. Love them to death.
Good form in quatrains.
Nice rhymes.

I love your crativity instincts to create a loving poetry form the thought of a dog. I like the out bursting of alluring words employed in this with good rhymes too.

Excellent strong rhymes, great metre in quatrain form (so easy to read) and a doggy story certainly brought me enjoyment. Hope to see more like this.
