What a bombshell! You're certainly stirring things up in the plot department right now. Very nice and unexpected twist to the story. An excellent chapter.

Thanks. You are so kind.

You caught me off guard with your spelling of "Manoeuvering" and then I remembered that it made sense for you to use the "Olde English" form since you are in the UK. LOL.
It's great to read some of the other "British" idioms like "swimmingly". This chapter captures a lot of that heritage.
Blessings and shalom!

Thanks for your review, which made me smile, in a warm way. I suppose I do use some phrases that are archaic over the pond.

Another excellent chapter. I liked the way the descritions enabled me to visualise your characters to their best advantage. I also liked the humour in the very last line. All in all, a good read.

I'll bet your hero was relieved the tension had eased with the mammoth guy! (lol) (sorry, couldn't resist - been a bit of a rough couple of days and I need the humor) Anyway, on to the review - I truly feel like just saying blah, blah, blah, because honestly, I do not see a thing I could improve upon - you don't need anything from me (except, perhaps to buy the book!)Great read, as usual. Excellent, realistic characters, lots going on, wonderful, descriptive phrasing, and so on, and so on...a pleasure to read your work. Please keep 'em coming!
