How very clever this poem is. You used great imagination in the tale, and it reads extremely well and rhythmic.
This definitely made me laugh out loud and I implore you to keep writing these amusing poems.
Best wishes, Joan

Dear Steve,
Quite bloody brilliant and in wonderful rhyme and metre too. I even forgive the new word "dentable" . Should be more writing like this.
Best regards
Reg

rhymed and in good meter for the Limerick style.

"Last night as they massaged their sorrow" ?! This is too much fun to be legal! What an undertaking this must have been Steve. You've really hit the nail on the funny bone with this one.

Flawless rhymes ans meter combined with the fact you managed to string a bunch of limericks together to tell a story makes more than worthy of a six.

The massaging their sorrow line was priceless and left me speechless. LOL

Well done sir!
Katherine

So humorous and how perfectly limericked! They'd love this in Dublin. You are a rhymer par excellance, Kiwi. No, I won't try this at home.

Priceless. The old royal pun reappears and has never been funnier. This poem gives so much delight that I cannot even begin to tell you. Let it suffice to say that I will be laughing for a long time to come, every time I think about the clever story told in this delightful rhyme.

Funny what you remember - I had to really strain my memory to recall any poem I had written that had a skunk in it...
