Very nice detail here, comparing the similarities between the British and Israelis insofar as display of emotion is concerned. You draw the conclusion that everyone feels the same way bringing the two sets of characters closer together in the reader's mind. You also have parallel news coverage here. This all seems to be very well balanced.

Thank you for this very professional writing. The use of adjectives really stands out to me. Being that I haven't read the other parts of the story I was drawn in to wonder what I missed. I wanted to hear more of the distinct voices of the worried character and the rational character but I'm sure I would get to know them in the rest of the story.

Even though I hadn't read the previous chapters of this book, I was able to feel the kinds of emotions running through it. Poor Joseph's pain was obvious by your dialogue. I liked your descriptions of the water, all of which painted the picture and enabled me to be part of the crowd of onlookers. I look forward to reading more.
