That is just wonderful. You brought a lump to my throat :) You had the emotion just right, not too much or flowery but meaningful, pinning me to my seat. Very well done.

I like the allusion in the first paragraph. It certainly ties in with the rest of the events and acts, perhaps, as a kind of foretelling of events to come. The second and third paragraphs, too, are very effective in their ability to intensify suspense - excellent duck image. You do a really good job on the description of Wesley's recovery. In the second last paragraph I'd suggest you use "had come home" rather than "came" to put the time frame more in order. I like the way you've left the reader on a hopeful note. It's a pleasant change after all the difficulties the characters have been experiencing.

This is an interesting story - not sure how credible the faith healing aspect of it is, but that didn't stop me from enjoying your chapter, which is well written. You've captured the hospital scene, hooked/wired up to the life saving/sustaining machines, taking turns to sleep in the waiting room, medical staff's understanding when the end is near, etc. It's a nice story. Regards, TM

Today's political correctness would throw Christians into a jail cell for practicing medicine with out the proper license. This is very well written.

The chapter was good, Hope is always there were god is residing. It was a wonderful chapter about hope and god, and also i liked that when your suffering you have god to turn to which .the lines "suffer little children to come to me." was superb.
