This is the second poem I have read today that deals with ridding yourself of the self-doubt and fear that retricts our forward progress. I think this is a sign for me. LOL.

I love poetry tuned to scripture. I enjoyed this
piece a lot. You've imaged it nicely and the
theme is one of being happy and fulfilled. I do
have to make one comment though,
Feel the joy that's waiting you
Seems this would read more properly and smoothly as;
Feel the joy awaiting you

I do not know about other who have read this but I am certainly lifted up, on high! God has given you a gift to share with those in need of it and those who long for it. I think I fit in both those catagories! This is wonderful in every way, such power in the words, a very silky flow and your heart weaved through every line! Loved it so much, Jj! New life is what it is about. You touch on great points. Not looking back for me is the best part for it is important to take what you have learned and move forward to a brighter light. Thanks for the read.
P.S. Is the word newess supposed to be newness? Also, one small note, maybe use punctuation all the way through or none at all. Just a thought.

Talk about touched by an Angel or words chasing the heart...this is simply beautiful. A prayer of happiness for the future, leaving sad and old times behind. I really felt this one.

From out of the shadow of death he climbs seeking the dream left in the burn of troubled life to start a new, reborn of spirit and faith. Blood cleans and water washes and wine goes down so smooth. Wonderful write filled with joy and image.. Old to New enjoyed the ride.. Thanks again.. Walt
