Your Eternity 5-7-5 Poetry contest entry I enjoyed today. I think you rose to the challenge very well. Love the words and the picture is an excellent choice.

Thank you - Dinah

This is beautiful. You have chosen to deal with a very complicated part of living in a different way. I like the notion that when the heart stops, times stop and there's heaven. The artwork is perfect for this piece. Great 5-7-5 poem.

This is a lovely five seven five, that probably would have made a great senyru. The reader must read it carefully in order to get the true message of death followed by a hearafter. Very well done.

The moment "in-between" Where consciousness no longer has the burden of animation but is free to abandon itself into the great mind of God....a beautiful poem well written-Food for thought- Blessings- T.K McGowan

Great picture for this poem, the background color really brings out the flow of the words. Almost reads like you are leaving earth and going to the upper world. Good luck in the contest.

Very goo 5-7-5 poem.
I like how you compare death to a frozen hourglass
where time has stopped for this individual.
It would be nice to believe that heaven is captured at that moment, but for some...I don't think so!

You nailed the 5-7-5 poetry! In just three lines you have managed to capture death and Heaven. I liked the imagery in freezing the hour glasses.

A very nice 5-7-5 poem. I don't think I have read a poem of death that treats the subject as you have. The ransomed soul going to his or her reward. So succinct. It makes me wonder. Good poetry often does. On a second read I wondered if this is not a poem of love at first sight, the face of the loved one "Heaven" captured. Am I correct on any of these musings? Please let me know! Great Write! :)

This is a good description of what eternity will be like. It is also a good example of 5-7-5 Haiku poetry. However, Catital's are not common in this form of poetry unless the word is a proper noun.
