This is a very interesting story, because it is so important to be aware that your mouth can decide your future. The Bible actually says "The power of life or death is in the tongue, and those who indulge will eat the fruit thereof."
I am glad you at least went to a Priest instead of to a Psychic, because that would simply compound your problem.
