I came to check your poem like you asked me to. It is technically perfect. I can see what you mean by adding colors. Red on black is very dramatic....However, just for your future information, red on black is very hard to read. A lighter color like pink might be better. Just letting you know so you remember not to make us oldies with bad eye sight even blinder than we already are. If the poem had more than three lines in it I would not have even bothered reading it because of the color. That color combination makes my eyes sore.

That is meant to read poem. I can only see one of them and I can see you fixed the color to make it softer on the eyes. Thank you for that. Red on black just makes me think of very dramatic young people for some reason.

I only award 6 stars to a poem that truly is flawless and uses figurative language effectively to create an image in the mind of the reader. Your poem is sweet, but lacks the "poetry" of perfect verse.

My mind wanted to read 'afar' as opposed to 'far'. Its hard sometimes to stay within the constraints of the 5-7-5. Very good poem otherwise with a good message.

The only thing that got me was the colouring of your font on the background. It made it a bit difficult to read.
