This is a lovely poem that has a comforting tone. The sounds are more important than the story, it's clear. I feel that way about a loved one's voice--especially my mother whose words, especially when I was a young boy, made me feel secure. Very nice "s" alliteration adds a whispering quality. Well done. This is a lovely poem that has a comforting tone. The sounds are more important than the story, it's clear.
