I loved this wonderfully written and thought poem. Yes swans are like bald eagles, they mate for life. A lesson for mankind to try to follow

A well written free verse poem with descriptive words and verses. The poem conveys it's message well and it is wonderful read.

I have heard that swans unlike some people do mate for life.
Other species in the animal kingdom also do have that lasting bonded relationship, but not the sophisticated, superior-minded adult human. What's wrong us? Like you poem and the message that you provide.

I love the art that you put here. I just don't like the darkness of color that i am seeing right not. In your art, it shows love. So I think you must put a lighter color to present your free verse. other than than. Great job.

    I think the colour shines through the darkness quite fine and I tried to keep within the colour of the picture to emphasis the poems voice, I think it`s suitable.

    Had a wee rethink the white is the only colour that seems to improve...tell me what you think.

I love the third stanza! 'they also can be strange' oh how true. I know! I am one...we are walking hormone holders!Not sure what you mean by 'Can Adam and Steve contain? but love this poem!'Good luck with the contest and trying to figure out females! hee...

    Adam and Steve is a reference to the unnatural act of homosexuality...

'Nature holds the key' and a few other lines, imply that there's a lot more to your poem that what's on the surface, making it an interesting read. Nice presentation, too.
