This is an excellent poem for children. You tell a delightful story of the boy and his dragon. Smooth flow of words and verses, excellent rhyming and this is a poem that makes the reader feel good.

This poem has a wonderful rhyme scheme and rhythm. It is the kind I am sure children would love to read. There is a common there that runs through children's imaginations and I think that is to befriend an animal or story book character that is seen as either an underdog, or a threat.

I agree with you on that common thread. They want to befriend the underdog because they are compassionate and feel like the underdog themselves sometimes. They want to befriend a scary monster to prove to themselves they are brave. Thank you for the review.

A darling poem for a child. The graphic is nice but I especially like the line " into his cavernous lair we'll glide, my dragon friend and I". It's so true when our children find a special toy to be their"friend". Great job!

Yay, I love them too. Such exquisite creatures. But sometimes frightening to the little ones. I wrote this for my grandson.

Yes, the renditions of many dragons can be scary, but in my mind I love them as being benevolent. Have you read any of the Dragon Riders of Pern series, by Anne McCaffery? They are the very BEST dragons. :)

You must have one of those minds that can detach, deflate, and squeeze into the cracks of time we all try to remember. A done deal with nothing to say on any way this should be touched ever again.
