Humpwhistle, this is hysterical, absolutely. Outlandish and absurd, oh but that is what hysterical is. I love reading things that make me laugh, it is good to laugh. No spaggies can I find, well I did not look hard enough through my watery eyes from laughing..but didn't your wp take care of that??? Best wishes with the contest.. this is delightfully entertaining... jlsavell

Thank you do much, jlsavell. This is so over the top I didn't expect a nomination, but I'm happy for it. I'm so glad you enjoyed. Peace, Lee

Too funny. You made me laugh. Now I have a very difficult choice to vote between the only story that made me laugh and the only one that made me cry.

I had a great time reading this and laughing at the same time. How technology has changed so much it still amazes me at times.
Great work here and I enjoyed reading it.
Thanks for sharing it.

Ah, that's so cute, Lee. Too many great lines to quote, but I got lots of chuckles out of it. I could relate to a lot of it, too. I'm a little better, but computers are still like time bombs to me. Biggest time-wasters ever invented, but also so darn much fun.
Good luck in the contest.

Thank you, Adri7enne. I swear this isn't far off the truth. I have to be honest though---the way I edit, I go bankrupt on White-Out if I didn't have a word processor. I glad you enjoyed, my friend. Peace, Lee

I like the visual (metaphor) of the short yellow bus broken down on the information superhighway.
Pocket watch? A real nerd sports a pocket protector!
Hunt and poke, huh?
What do you know, we share the same favorite author! Only my computer has an affinity toward...
And spam surprise is what your computer will bring you if you're not careful with that li'l doohickey.

Hey, Sol, The short yellow bus reveals my situation very well.
And which little doohickey are you refering to? I thought hunt and poke was funny. Thanks, Sol. Paz, Lee

unintesinal? ooooohhhhhh WHEW. I REALLY must have this - to read again and again - probably take 3-4 times before I can stop laughing long enough to finish the entire debacle. We are almost the perfect match, bucko ... however, I lack the guts to admit or so eloquently profess my fuckstration (my "intestional") for these gizmos.
Must print now.
Yenta may be on to something here.

Hey, Lea, thank you for all the stars. So, you're an anti-geek, too? Who would have ever thought I'd be embarrassed about not being a geek? I'm delighted you enjoyed. But just so you know, everything I write isn't this silly. Thanks, again. Peace, Lee

Oh, funny!! You are never lacking in the humor department, Lee! I smiled all the way down the page. Very fun. And relatable. Thanks for a fun and lighthearted read. I think you needed something kinda kooky to write, didn't you? Dana

Thank you again, Dana. Sometimes you just have to get a little silly---though this piece was loosely based on sad truths. Thank you. Great to hear from you. Peace, Lee

Great read. Reminds me of me trying to figure out facebook. As far as mistakes go, I'll let them pass- hell you at least managed to write the damn story.
Good eating,

Thank you so much, Cheryl. Actually, anything tastes good with mustard on a sandwich. I'm glad you got a chuckle. Tell Cole Train I'm still waiting for him to come back. Thanks again.

I'm so late with this I know everything I wanted to say will have been said; so I'll let the 'mark' speak for itself.
There's no 'reviewing' your stuff Lee, there's just reading it - and appreciating it, revelling in it and marvelling at your thought processes.
You make me very pleased to be a human - animals miss out on soooo much not being able to understand words ... along with about 3/4 of the world population who don't speak english ....
Um, if you don't want your sparkly bits to be fried, get it off your lap - unless you're calling it Daisy...

Ah, Heidi, I was afraid your membership had expired. I'm glad to hear from you---of course the six helps, too. My 'sparkly bits' much appreciate the advice, and I appreciate your very generous comments. kee ora, Lee
