This is a poem that evokes the mystery of family photographs with no names or dates on them, and the sadness of knowing the photos reflecting a part of you which you'd like to captue. Very well done. Your rhythm and stanzas are perfect for this kind of memory. Thank you for sharing.

It is a very good poem. My mom is always stating that she wants names and dates put on her pictures and so many of the kids have poo pooed the idea becasue we all know who they are but in relaity one of these days we won't be around to tell someone else who the picture is showing. Great piece. God bless.

Nice rhythm and flow, with a caring note streaming through the poem. How many times have we all been guilty of not adding names and dates on the backs of pictures? and as your words imply, it isn't like it takes more than just a moment to record the event.

Very nice! rhythmical and bouncy. I love the descriptions in each quatrain. The rhyme is great and the nostalgic tone you set is well done. Great job!

I thank you! I have been writing Poetry for years but never was serious about it. My husbands death was a sobering factor in my life and now I seem to have the heart of a poet. Rhymes just roll off my tongue.

I can so identify with this as I have recently sold my parents house and have come across hundreds of pictures whilst clearing out the attic, and I haven't a Scooby as to who any of them are either. Well done on writing your excellent poem with perfect rhyme and flow on a subject that I'm sure many can identify with.
