Hi Mike,

I have read several poems about 9-11 but this one is by far the best. The presentation is stunning and your well chosen words are powerful and compelling. If I were you I would send this to the pentagon and see what happens. It is an accomplished poem to say the very least. Well deserving of a six star review....chey

The imagery I wanted to use has been in my mind for a week, and I love Wiki Images as their search engine has fulfilled my needs many times. Wow! For both the rating and your advice, and I will attempt to send it as in the past I have had problems with doing so. Perhaps stars and stripes.

I thank you very much for your compliments, the wonderful rating and advice, as well this review. MIke

What a tragic awe-inspiring image. I have that same thought every time I see it. Incredible. The text was off-the-chain too. Metaphoric visuals like preventing emotional mascara from running. or Screaming throught the popped eardrums of thought. Great job
Content: superb
Flow: excellent
Mechanics: excellent
Pic/text combination: superb

I liked the thought that went into this poem, and the point about daily circumstance really hit home. I think I would have liked that point explored a bit more. The make-up metaphor is a lovely one and I wish you had returned to it in the end.

In a sense, the make up was the mindset we all use in daily life and how reality redecorated it. I thank you for reviewing this.

When The Towers Fall

Your writing should be ever be grove
in the stone relics of the century.

The cry of rain drops from heaven
purely cleansed the spirit of the
to be with soulful filled breath of
operative offensive haunted by their conscience.

As it is ten years since the worlds biggest and most horrific act of terrorism, I was expecting poems of this nature, but yours certainly stands out due to the impressive artwork that you added

It's a funny thing as I totally ignored beat poetry thinking it was nothing but liberal politics. But in hearing Jim Morrison's and knowing Daryll Read, it is actually used by many to cut though the prejudices of human life. Very often you need not assign a blame, but the style of imagery works well and indeed is a painting as a member here taught me so well.

Terrorism is something that needs to be stopped at the roots, and for what ever reason, very good and at times better then Christian people quietly attend Mosques that preach hatred which is pretty much not questioned. Luckily both Christianity and Judiasm have eliminated that biblical mentality out of their places of worship. Even if the fringes preach it, they are careful not to practice it; and I hope those that are the biggest victims take the hint and find the power to eliminate it. Another image that left me with a bad taste in my mouth was the two, "World's Longest Poem for Peace," which was an activity at poetry conventions and a gift for the Untited Nation's. Much of what I read made me sick as it was more about Bush then peace. I couldn't get it out of my head that people had no understanding of peace and often identify with the victimizers which was something that made my life hell as that mentality invade the household and it just emboldened all who didn't want peace.

I thank you very much for your compliments and this review. Mike
