You got my vote! Wonderful work and a very enjoyable read. You make many good points and ask all the right questions. I believe you are correct when comparing the hits of poems to those of stories/chapters. Many, not all, weight the time involved and the points/dollars received for that time. I do believe there is a wonderful co-existence between the poet and author. I am the latter though I dabbled recently in the former. I love their way with words and enjoy the emotional journey I sometimes take when reading them. Then, I get back to work. You should do the same. Keep Reading and Writing.
Oh. By the way. You commentary was wonderfully written and recommended for to all.
