Very contemplative piece of free verse, i wrote one about Time also, even used the same color choice,LOL. There is a quote I read long ago that relates to time and people. "Millions long for immortality, yet don't know what to do on a rainy Sunday afternoon". Times a wasting, looks like I need to read one more of yours before i go for the day. Write on.

Time may heal some wounds, yet only cover others with its sands. Beautifully written, and very thought provoking. You are a very wise soul Jewel. Your insights here are right on the mark. Great from start to finish, superb ending!

This is a very nice poem, full of great imagery. I think you should re-think the form a little bit. The spacing between each line seems a little strange. Overall, this is a nice piece.

I love free verse. It is the only way to go, and you did an outstanding job on this. The flow was fantastic and I felt every line. Once again, great job

My goodness, what the truth in your writing entails. On one hand, we do long for more time, but on the flip side sometimes complain about too much time at hand. Your writing always seem to reach something in me. Reminds me of something, allows me to reflect, always something.

It does not heal all wounds. We learn how to deal with them through the passage of time but the wound is never truly healed. Another excellent piece of writing. I just love these lunch breaks you give to me. Thanks so much, my friend.

Great simile with the time and healing, and yes, it's never right, is it? Too much, not enough, never satisfied....but, that's human nature, unfortunately.

Great writing, as always..

A good question, Jewell, and I don't know that any of us have the answer, except in our own experiences. I don't necessarily think that it heals, but it does scar and make less painful. Anyway, as you can tell, it made me think, and that is good poetry to me. Well done.

This is an interesting poem, short, sweet, and to the point. It makes me want to say "how true!" I didn't find anything that I didn't like about it.
