I believe your message sincerely.
That is why they call the present a "gift."
I enjoyed this essay very much and I conform
to your belief that leave the past behind, it
is a learning curve. Also that life is a journey
and we should enjoy the ride.
You have great goals and great ideas. I wish you
much pleasantry on the road to success.

Thank you for hitting the nail on the head. Today is our present! We receive many presents in our lifetime but living each minute of each day as fully as we can is the best present we can get. Your work is written in a very positive way that can make everyone think. Bravo!

An old adage but no less true. There is only now. The past is to be learned and let go of, the future is to be pondered not pounded. Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful. Let's hope each can live well today. Great suggestion, to plan, have goals, but enjoy you day now. Especially playing with your 'affectionate dog.'

Thanks for sharing this with us. Yes we often get locked into what may have been or what may be. The French have a saying 'joy de vivre' - the joy of living - think they got that right. A good thought provoking read. jennieclare

Nicely written - surely some material for further thought. Boy, do I know way too many people who still are living in their past. Probably an equal number focusing exclusive on the future. I'm motivated now. I think I'll play hookie and fishing! Warm regards, Bill

Wow, that makes a lot of sense. And I have to say I haven't really been living in the present as I should've. Worrying about tomorrow will take care of itself as it always does. Today, I need to relax and enjoy the moment and the pleasure in reading and writing. Love this write my friend.

Enjoy the present-worrying and obsessing do no good. Believe me. I've wasted far too much of my life doing these. Enjoy what you have while you have it!!! Thank you for the review. Take care friend! Debbie

Essay is boring to write. It is just studying the grammar. But after I am trained than maybe I think just working is good for me. Before I tamed, I need to say that I love to labor for work in the pizza hut.Poem is poem and my life is big labor job.

This is a wonderful page of thoughts. It is so true that life is a journey and not a destination, even though we all have destinations we'd like to get to in mind. I hope you reach your place of happiness someday soon. M.E.

If I had only realized this 20 years ago! How many of us at one time or another let either the past engulf us or the future perplex so much to the point of being paralyzed! I enjoyed your piece very much. My only note in reading: 3rd paragraph from the bottom: Some of us live in the past instead of on the past?

Thank you for finding that mistake. It has been corrected! Living too much in the past or the future, means we aren't living in the present where we should be. Thank you for your kind review and comments! Debbie
