I do like its thematic subject! It's perfectly penned throughout its eight rhyme versification stanzaic structure ballad format and its beautifully maternal life lying narrative storyline to her son and death's truth revelation. In the end all the knots come to a head. Great work!

Happy Saturday Beth and take care of yourself joyfully with all your beloved ones. Please, never tell me about paying because I really never cared of these cents for reviewing and I have alwauys been saying that I would like to pay an only sum at the beginning of the year and reviews should be written by people that really like the text, poem or passage otherwise it's better fir them to skip it because many reviews are only nonesense and very poor indeed. they put just words that have so sense without referring to the text not examoned but only for those few cents. Excuse me for this but there are reviewers who have a set fitted model to copy and paste and go on. The hipocrite lecteur hasn't the strength to say no and skip in front of that money and believe me those are not real poets but only poor miserable people without a soul. Real reviewing takes time and comprehension of the text examined as you, dearest new friend well know. I only review when I have time enough without subtracting my time to writing. I am nobody but my dream is to leave something written to my children and six grandchildren. I have never try seriously to publish because editors require to much money and few a serious people ( this is what happens in Italy for publishing for the first time) I would like to find a serious editor evrn paying if it's Worth doing it but I want to see my work distributed not left and abandoned for ages and never put on the market. You are Always welcomed, new friend of mine. it has been a pleasure to review your poem whose thematic I had also treated some time ago. Blessings from Italy. Tony

I appreciate you writing the long note to let me know, the money doesn't matter. You are right about a lot of the work we read not making sense. If I can't find anything good about It, I
have to pass no matter what it is paying. I may publish with Amazon because it is not expensive and if people like it, it will be there for them to purchase. You have control of the promotion. I have friend, who is doing quite well on Amazon.

Some revelation - you've conveyed the awfulness of hearing this news from a loved parent.
Skillful use of all the key words - the only one that's a bit of a stretch is orangle glow to face.
The refrain is great.
