Thank you, Maxine :-). I do seem to retain the less common words I've read. I wrote a poem all about 'Spatulamancy' (divination of the future via the study of a sheep's shoulder blade - only in English would we have a word just for that!), and I'm always trying to twin unusual words into the hemp of my petry.

Oh, I don't know about psychotic, but definitely obsessive-compulsive - obsessed with the desire to write and writing compulsively. Words constantly play with my mind. Thank you, Linda :-). That's sixes now from you, Judian James, and Rama Devi - three of the poets I most respect on sight. What a way to mitigate the gloomy drizzle of this morning's London commute!
I hear you regarding the words - they require use, or they'll play havoc with the mind. I get very grumpy if I let them build up! I think writing is a need for those of us that embrace it. Not an addiction, more like a fundamental requirement for the ongoing stability of our characters ...
Now I sound like a psycho again!

I love to read poetry describing my insanity. Sometimes I do wonder if I'm crazy because I often forgo more important things to write and review. That's really imaginative. In the end you mention the dish. Maybe this poet is "cooking up" a poem. You adhere nicely to the sonnet form.

Thanks, Bowls :-). You plugged into this one perfectly - I think we drive ourselves nuts with our words, but they're also the things that give us identity. So glad you enjoyed!
