Ohhhhhh Pupa,

This is such a sorrowful poem. Our Lord hears your silent screams and Mother Mary knows the pain that you have endured. When you pass through Heaven's Gates, you will know the why. Till then, keep the faith.

I'll send you a PM. Regards, LateBloomer

Hi Pupa,

As you know, there is no answer to this why. Harsh as it sounds, it is simply life. One day, when you're reunited, I'm sure then, why won't come into question at all.

PUPA,
the death of a child is so tragic for a mother, father, sister, brother or anybody. My mom has lost two children so my family has dealt with two deaths. Her first son was still born before me or my two sisters and brother was born. But the death of my little sister, Tchinin, a littler over seven years ago at the age 29 was most tragic because she left behind her eight year old son, Brandon, for me and my parents to raise. I was real close with her and I still mourn her death. My heart goes out to you in this poignant and very well written poem. I love the creative way you wrote the poem as a letter. You give voice to all the mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers who've lost loved ones who haven't even begun to live their lives. My heart goes out to you as my prayers. In this life we will never have an answer to the question many ask: Why? Bless you. . .Melissa.

Pupa, first of all, as a mother of a son that was born in the same year, I can only envision your intense sorrow and loss. You letter to God must be therapeutic and obviously it pours from a grieved soul who truly wants to understand why?? I have much to say on the subject, but there is a time and place fro everything. My heart goes out to you sweet Pupa. May God grant you the answers you seek. May He give immense strength in your time of pain and bestow upon you the wisdom to know when the answer enters your heart. Beautiful write, beautiful..I would love for you to tell me about your son one day, that is if you wish to share. I would love to know all about this incredible human being.. jlsavell

PUPA,

Your letter contains such sadness, yet acceptance of God's will makes life more peaceful. Blessings to you - a mother.

Hi, Pup:

It is good to get things out of your system. There is just so many things we can't understand, and for me, many really test my faith. If He is merciful as is preached, how can He ever let so many terrible things happen.
Find peace my dear friend.

Love,

Rob

Not only is this an outstanding poem, PUPA, but the style is original and endearing. I especially liked these lines:

"It is when I accept Your will
That I sense peace and can surrender;
But on days when my faith needs a refill,"

I do know where you're coming from. My son was only 14 when we lost him. Bless you.....Bob
