This peice is cute, clever and lots of fun. We all love the excuse of eating for two I guess. It just always seems like the baby wnats all these fatening things, now whats that about? LOL Great poem

Hi Carol, I enjoyed reading this little piece. It brought back memories. I used to talk to my babies before they were born. A good twist at the end.

    Donna,

I remember playing music and chattering away. I sometimes wonder why they tune me out now. LOL

How lovely your story is. I think any pregnant mother (indeed, all mothers) will relate to this so well.
I smiled as I read your story as it brought back my own memories.

Begin Again, this was a very sweet enjoyable quick read. I enjoyed the idea of "feeding" Jack. You show great imagination and wit. Good job.

Hi Carol,

This is a delightful read and one I enjoyed reading. Of course the only thing to do is buy another box...we don't want Jack to go hungry! Well done. Blessings, chey

Hi Nora, thank you so much for sharing the flash fiction. I notice you have selected one of Suneagle's selections, but not entered this one in the contest. I really enjoyed this short read, and imagined the pregnant woman promising to buy some more for 'Jack'!
Warmest regards, and hugs, Marijke

Ha-ha, eating for two... This is what pregnant women like to say, when they want more of something delicious. I wonder if there's a physical explanation for this, or for other cravings. Witty you, Carol ...

LOL- I enjoyed this, and the picture you've selected is perfect! How cute that you talk to 'Jack'' (I'm assuming that's the baby inside?) as you tell a little story eating each animal cracker- LOL- Yes, you are eating for two, so you can eat the whole box. LOL- I used to love those little animal crackers! Thanks for sharing- Betty
