You just reviewed one of my pieces, so I thought I'd return the favor. Congrats on the win!! Very clever how you hinted at what normally would be an "S" word with the very last line, and your description line was very cute too

LOL! Nicely done. I'm always awed by people who can write stories without one letter such as 's'. Just look at how many times this review alone has it. :-0

Best of luck in the contest.

Regards, anabelle

I like this fast and feisty work. The action was unbelievable, I could see the hoagie with the pepperoni, lettuce, tomato, oil...You name it. Besides, it made me hungry for a hoagie too!

Writer,
You're short fiction story is well written. You did a wonderful job not using the letter S. The food sounded yummy. Cool photo of what looks like a deli. Good dialogue. Your entry is an excellent one for the writing prompt. Good luck in the voting booth.

Lots of fun entry!!! Loved the creative use of hoagies for content and adding all the fixings without using a single "s"! Great response to the prompt. Sue

You did a pretty good job with this one. I can't even write my name without using an "S". This is a great entry for the contest and I wish you all the best. Thanks for using my photo to illustrate it.

Question ... What is provolone and what is a hoagie? Please explain for this foreigner! Well written and interesting. Pat.

Pat.. Thank you for reading and commenting on my story. Provolone is a typically "sharp" italian cheese and a hogie is similar to a "submarine" sandwich, a 6-8 inch long sandwich generally made on crispy Italian bread.

The best of luck in the contest. You certainly kept within the rules of no "S" Very clever and amusing. I wouldn't have guessed you could do it without using the letter.

This is a good entry for the "Life without the letter S" contest. It was short, but told a story in a very succinct manner.

Good luck in the voting booth. - Thesis

Thank you for reading and commenting. The contest was for 25-50 words thats why it may have appeared short. Mine was I think 48 words. Thanks again....
