Wow, that is weird. Especially the laptop which gets it's time by the internet. This is really interesting but I haven't a clue how it could happen. I didn't see any spag.

Time is an illusion coffee time doubly so! If, it were a Thursday that would explain everything. I never could get the hang of Thursdays. It is the middle of the week, but everyone says that is Wednesday? Coincidence is often the most damning of things, and leads us to believe in strange connections that don't really exist. There again, you may have a time-travelling lap top at no extra charge.

It is the middle of the week, but everyone says that is Wednesday? Coincidence is often the most damning of things, and leads us to believe in strange connections that don't really exist. That is pretty bizarre. I would have said maybe some sort of small EMP, but then your whole computer would have been affected.
The only thing that I can think of is that maybe some spirit was playing a joke on you two, and messing with your clocks; maybe a deceased friend or family members who really loved Starbucks or used to joke around with you that you spent too much time there.

I have no idea how the discrepancy could have happened, but it is an interesting problem. I wouldn't toss the watch or the laptop until you fixed the time and see if it happens again.

That is a puzzle for sure. Had you been in another time zone and made changes to cover that? Was your computer set by your wife's watch? Did you later learn of anything special occurring at 2:05pm? Could it be that you were sitting in a spot with a different magnetic field? Did you venture in to a parallel universe? This is a most interesting adventure in time. Bob - This is really different, but interesting. Maybe they just came home from a trip in a different time zone and forgot to change the time on the watch. I have no idea for the computer as they usually change themselves.
