I would say your wives watch battery died and your computer had a glitch of some kind. Or maybe time just wanted to let you be together longer.
Keep writing and stay healthy.

The only explanation is that your computer had somehow begun to lag with the wrong time as your battery started to wane and at one point your wife synchronized her watch with your computer. Otherwise, there is some sort of weirdo fiddling with you and your wife.

They are both right... Your computer and wife watch was in a warp-speed time zone because of the flat earth theory being true... it is hard to explain because of the shiplap placement over the domes Bungie cord, but a Haps'yardle tool could explain the unexplained... take care Bill

Yes it is...Ben Gunn bless his heart... Which reminds me have you had a chance to see the series called Black Sails... its on Starz I THink?.great lines and the acting is beyond good.... It's a combination of historical fact and fiction... The Dialog is Spot on Perfect.... there is a wee bit of sex in it... It's Pirates for crying out loud what would one expect otherwise ? Take care Bob

No, I haven't seen it. I do not subscribe to Starz though. It is a premium channel around here. : ) Bob

When you write: if novices like me pay attention, you reveal good tips on writing. Its almost always about the verb choices and the power they have. The structure of sentences that are tight, and man you can wind e'm up like any pro I've ever read. You don't waste a word.

Mastery-I found this weird but interesting but not so far fetched...First let's do the math, we are living on a planet rotating on it's axel in space but no one ever thinks about the obvious and to be perfectly honest, I think they think this is normal but it's not. Do I think that things happened based on time and space, yes, I do because I'm not in the box, I'm way outside of it...so what happened could have been a time lapse and somethings cannot be explained away in our normalacy whatever that may mean but I think you truly loss time and for a moment it may have shall we say stopped....Free

This is really weird. Maybe one of you set your watch from the others? Or maybe you were really in the Twighlight Zone. Strange...very strange.

DIfferent time zones is the only thing I can think of. Excellently eerie story. When something like what you describe happens, it give me the creepy feeling that unseen forces might be at work. Excellently thoughtful piece. Blessings to you, Linda
