There is nothing like hearing philosophy from a gifted poet. It has a great choice of words and phrases. All three stanzas were great though the last one sort of stood out. Great job!

Such lovely words and phrases! I was quite carried away. I especially loved the second stanza... it made me feel as if I were right there hearing the birds, smelling the lilac, and I even love the philosophy of life so beautifully expressed... to welcome splendor and say no to gloom. That's just perfect! A beautiful piece of word art and certainly worthy of six stars. Loved it! MM

Such lovely words and phrases! I was quite carried away. Excellent rhymed poem with lovely imagery and presentation. It's important to remain grateful for what we have. I give thanks to God for my children's health and my health. My children and grandchildren are the best part of my life. The rhyme doesn't seem forced and the poem flows well. I hope to read more of your work.

What a wonderful poem! The artwork is so lovely and is a scene with only the glory of Gods' hands. This reads so well and I love the last verse best...swans gliding...How peaceful and perfect!
