I liked the way you rhymed only the last line of each stanza. I wonder if the form has a name, as I read another poem this morning by an author who chose to do the same. Hers was 4 lines per stanza. I like your use of three lines better, as it keeps the rhyming words closer together. The poem reads extremely well, Pupa. There is much wisdom in the words and an understanding of circumstance that is rarely seen. Good perspectives and a most well crafted poem. Rose.

This is a very interesting topic and a wonderful way you have presented this poem. The abc dec fgc rhyme interesting, and it works. The poem flows freely, has good rhythm, and gives the reader food for thought.

I don't know what the artwork looks like, it never came up. The poem did and I enjoyed reading this piece. It gives one hope for the future. Just taking a good look at oneself and ridding your life of unwanted distractions, can put you on the right road.....very well done........jim

Very telling art work and words written. When we come depressed within our lives, this can be hard to get rid of.
